Week 2...

so far

I should have more to tell, but I have been fighting a horrible bug this week...totally wiped to the floor, hot sweats, extreme exhaustion and generally YUCK

It was in all honesty an effort to keep my head above water, grocery shopping was like taking a hike through   the mountains wearing a car on each foot whilst dragging a lorry - grinding to say the least.
I could moan all day about how rough it's been, I want to moan about it but it wont change a thing and fingers crossed whatever it was it seems to worked it's way through my system now and has skipped the kiddos

Monday - at home, kiddos out to play for a time weather permiting
Tuesday - empty cupboards made a trip to the grocery store essential, manage to put groceries away, cook a roast before collapsing into bed way before the rest of the family

Wednesday
BIG NEWS DAY
Fonzy learnt to ride a bike without any help!  He's been riding his balance bike just fine and dandy for simply ages but the peddles on a bike had scared him, put him off his beat.  Today he hopped on a neighbours bike out the front and with a gentle push off from RV he was off and away!
Seeing Fonzy could do it Loopy decided that she too should be able to ride a bike without any stabilizers!  A couple of wobbly starts and she was also away.
Seriously like a bus, nothing at all then 2 at once!!

I'm one pretty chuffed mama I can tell you

I had planned now that we have the car back to make a couple of trips out, but fingers crossed tomorrow I will be feeling up to a trip.  West Wycombe Park is open and despite living here all my life I've never been, so unless the weather is vile we'll be taking a stroll around the lake, hoping to get a few photos and if the kiddos are up for it a look around the the house

Fingers Crossed!

I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
