Today I am...

doing the mundane...
in the grey light that the wet weather brings.

The laundry is getting done, slowly in the wet weather but, thankfully, I do have the tumble dryer....at the moment there are 2 large baskets of dry laundry waiting to be folded, folding it some days is the worst part and I put it off, which is silly as it doesn't get any more appealing to do the larger the piles grow!

I've washed the car booty bits from yesterday, amongst it I picked up 6 Bonne Maman jam jars...I'm sorting all my vintage buttons into jam jars by colour.
Yes I do have better things I should/could be doing with my time but, hey, it keeps me happy and looks pretty too
{more importantly it does not cost a lot to do}
Im so glad I didn't sell lots at the first Priddy Vintage market last year!
I am happy to say that the little collection has grown quite considerably since this....although not all are for home a lot are for the Priddy Priddy stall

Fonzy has gone for a nap, unusual but he had a later night last night, we let them stay out later and enjoy the dry evening. So while he naps I may will be emptying jars and thinning the colours out further.

We've had the tee-pee {I it made from 4 old duvet covers last year} out on the floor in the living room today, Fonzy has put all the cushions/pillows in there and he tells me it is a comfy as it looks!
He's also been busy in the 'dining come play room' building lots of rail tracks, with 'monster trucks' going wild and jumping the tracks n trains - wonderful creative imagination

...which reminds me...

...A long time ago we watched a Wallace and Gromet film, the one where they went to the moon to eat cheese..you know the one I mean?
Anyways he's asked me a few times recently if he can drive a rocket, to which I said of course he could when he's bigger, {he also asked me if I can drive a rocket, said it was ok when I said I couldn't as he'd drive it for me} and he was happy with that
Roll back to a couple of nights ago and he got really excited by the moon, he walked out onto the patio and was HUGELY excited by the big round moon...I heard him say to the others
'The moon is MASSIVE....it's full of cheese - mmmmnnn'

I love the world according to Fonzy

I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
