Me again...

Still no photo's uploaded...only a few taken if truth be told.

Autumn is here...chilly air at night, cold crisp sunny mornings and shorter days.

The leaves have started to change colour, Loopy and I spotted the most wonderful red leaves carpeting the green grass around the other day whilst we were out in the car.  No space to pull over to take a photo but I have one in my mind and just wish I could share it with you.

I LOVE Autumn it is by far my most favourite season...it's when my two most favourite words join together to make poetry...

Autumnal Equinox

Ah the way they roll off the tongue and chase each other around

We chose to get married in October so I could have luscious oranges/golds and reds

We've still not yet collected a single conker.   

This is unheard of in our house it really just goes to show how far that naughty mojo has run away and hidden.

I've not even had my usual PMT burst of house cleaning/clearing.

I need to stop complaining and get off my robust bottom and just crack on with it...if only I could muster the enthusiasm to do so!

I'm sorry to whinge so much but it isn't all Mary Poppins moments with smiling happy siblings and a home that's photo shoot ready.  

Some days I'm a moaning midget, nagging the kids to do stuff that shouldn't bother me, forgetting that it's such a short time that I have them small.

What this slump has given me {and for this I'm genuinely glad} is to not sweat the what if's!

So it's not been all doom and gloom.

My to do list this week

Monday - collect a few ruddy conkers and bloody well enjoy doing it

Tuesday - let the kids choose whatever they want from the bakery counter when we go shopping

Wednesday - Take kiddos to the park after school

Thursday - Go to the library after toddlers

Friday - Watch a DVD together

simple things...forcing me to get out
