Seasons...
We made a rain catcher and also a wind streamer for our studies of the weather
April showers and gusty winds make perfect conditions, well they would if it would rain! 1cm of rain recorded to date.
Life cycles of frogs and butterfiles is being looked at and we have also been looking at why we celebrate Easter, not just for chocolate and doffodils it seems!
Crafting...
Well this really has kept us busy!
The blanket for MIL was finished in time for mothers day and Im now busy playing with granny squares, which in turn I hope will turn into a lovely little blanket for Fonzy.
Lolly has had the sewing machine out making cushions for the garden
Abba, Lolly & I have had a lot of fun creating faeries and elves for Fonzy and Loopy to play with after inspiration from these two lovely blogs here and here. Well I've had fun and the girls didnt object, Abba made hers in her own unique styling, not quite Steiner inspiration but made with love non the less.
the morning after we had made them I came down to discover the evil stick insect had coralled the hapless faeries and was not to let them out until after brekkie
Fonzy loves the elves and fairies and his keen interest brings the others into his world of make believe and they in turn make their own little stories.
We have moved the spring table down to Fonzys level and have added our own homemade Spring fairy
The weather has till the middle of this week been glorious, summer here on our doorstep at the start of April. We have in turn spent a lot of time outdoors. From the moment we've come down and put the laundry out to dry to the moment the evening chill is too cool to stay outside.
After helping with the garden Fonzy decided he too was a snail.
The garden is looking an awful lot tidier, the old swing is waiting to go to the dump, rubbish has been cleared, grass has been cut and the path has been weeded. Ive cleared the shed of its rubbish and in turn have cleared area by the shed to turn it into a user friendly space.
Boot sale season has arrived huzza!
Show & tell coming up in the following months

I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
