Mr Blue Sky...

Quite literally!

I pointed the camera at the sky and click...there you have it clear blue skies!

Today we went to my brother PK's for a BBQ and the weather was glorious, it's hard to think that we're still only in April and not July.

We had lots of lovely bubbles - thanks to my sis Jx who bought this...

little thing, which the kids enjoyed for aaaages!

Fonzy and Loopy played all day in the garden (again! honestly they are allowed inside they just choose not to come in)

Once again Fonzy chose to strip down to as little as possible, we had to negotiate the top staying on.

I joined in with the water fight and got ambushed every time I went near the bowl to fill their water pistols up! Still with the weather so hot I dried within moments and enjoyed (savoured!) the few minutes of refreshing coolness.

We drove home into a thunderous, heavy rain storm and the air tonight is so fresh.  The smell of the dampness is wafting through the open windows and doors.  The cooler temperature is refreshing although I'd be happy to see the sun back in the morning.

Sewing - Part 2

(finally a photo!)

A pretty little skirt, almost twirly enough for Loopy, but very simple to sew, wash and wear!  It's pretty birdies are to me Eastery.

Loopy and the skirt were much cleaner than this at the start of the day - but a sign of a good day is how grubby they are at the end of it!
