Fabric shears & a hair cut...

Is that really a good idea?

Loopy hates having her hair brushed, washed or fiddled with in general.  Its not been too bad in the cool weather, but in the hotter times we've been enjoying it has proved to be a bit of a problem.  Its no fun having to try to brush hair that hasn't been touched for 3 days or trying to wrestle a 5yr old into having her hair brushed.
Getting it wet in the garden only adds to the chaos of tangled hair washing.
Tears before bedtime are not a nice way to end the day.
We have been going through copious amounts of leave in spray conditioner over the years in an effort to counter this but all with no real success.

So last night after going through the tears of a hair wash I took the plunge...

unable to find decent scissors I took the fabric shears and started.....

the end result.....

Loopy is now a very happy little girl!

We brushed her hair in about 6seconds this morning, without tears, complaint or pain.

and breathe a sigh of relief.

I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
