I think I've mentioned before that I LOVE this book. It's been a firm favourite for many years, one that we could all tell without the book for prompts. The pictures however are beautiful, I love the illustrations.
Years ago, for my 30th birthday my brother bought me a rather tactile and gorgeous bronze figure of the hare lying down. The artist has since become very successful and his works are now beyond my pocket but I still treasure my small bronze.
Remembering this for Christmas this Abba made me two very special gifts. Now I treasure all my prezzies and am eternally grateful to receive them...but these are very very special treasures.
So on Christmas morning I unwrapped a very pretty box and unearthed from the tissue this lovely little fella.
The pictures don't do it justice. It's clay and so very, very tactile. Perfect.
She had crafted it in her spare time at college.

But...that wasn't it! After tea on Christmas day she ta-da'd this little beauty
all hand stitched, hand sketched and totally hand made. A one off exclusive
I keep finding things to find joy & happiness in around my little home.

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
