Stig of the dump...

Well mum of the dump!

I have had some brilliant finds recently at the local dumps & also the charity shop.

I have coveted for some time a wooden cooker for the littlies, but finances are tight and it was no more than a bit more wishful thinking.  So... imagine my joy at spotting this little beauty when we pulled into the dump.  I confess that I rushed full pelt over to where it was resting and was haggling a price en-route.  :)
Well well well, what do you get for a fiver at the local dump?

To be honest if that had been my only find for the year I could possibly be one of the chirpiest peeps around.  All it needs is a bit of a clean and a bit of glue to hold the top part down and we're set to go.
But it seems that the universe had heard my wishful thinking and helped me out.

A lovely little wooden fire station from the charity shop, for the wonderful price of £2.50!  It too needed a little TLC but is good to go and is being used as a fire station, dolls house, garage and a few other things too.

Now to hunt the wooden fire engine & firefighters down at a bargain price too!

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
