Whilst I pottered away in the kitchen tidying up the lunch mess a game of cricket erupted on the front grass! I'll say erupted as there was a lot of noisey shouting & lots of jumping around involved. Fonzy was in the way for everyone just wanting to play with the ball and getting quite cross when he wasn't allowed; Dadda remedied this by putting him into bat. He did quite well and had both Loopy & RV to do his runs for him.
The match ended when the ball was lost (again) and as a consolation Dadda took them all up to the local park to see his parents & their dog Maxy.
Today though rain is hampering play (that and the lack of a ball) so we're running in & out with bikes and scooters dodging showers.

Im attempting to learn how to crochet, inspired by many talented bloggers out there. I've found a knitting group who meet 6miles from me once a month and who have generously allowed me to join; knowing that I neither knit (well only very slowly & badly) nor crochet. I've managed to cast a chain on, do a basic stitched/chained row and also a double stitch. Next Im attempting a 1/2 treble (I think) then who knows maybe even a treble. It will end in tears but for the time being Im enjoying the dreams of a pretty crocheted blanket ala Attic 24

I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
