Countdown is progressing...

Eeek only 1 day of school term left!  At the moment its an Eeek of excitement but suspect that it could change to more of a low mumbling type of groan if we have a wet holidays this year.

There's a bit of Argh too, I had planned to make RV's teacher something in time for the end of term but it looks like he'll take it into her in September.  Taking the positive spin on it I reason that she will be inundated with gifts this week so it may have got lost in the crowd.

Loopy finishes nursery tomorow and with no place at the school RV attends we are looking increasingly likely to be home-edding her.  (Now that really does generate a MASSIVE EEK!)
On a good day Im so convinced that its the right thing to do I cant see the logic of reception year in school, I can conqour the world (well my laundry mountain at least) whilst lovingly imparting interesting, worthy, fun & knowlegable things to her.
On a bad day Im convinced that I need serious psychiatric help as well as a kick up the butt to tackle the constantly breeding laundry.  These are the days when I forget to wee through the day, let alone manage to string a coherant sentance.  Pass on wisdom? Ha!

We have plans afoot for many a picnic, even more days in the garden, the local ducks should be positively obese by the time our planned feeding outings are done with, Granny really wont know whats hit her with the general hubbub that my brood create whenever they enter a room enmasse.
Lolly & my niece will I hope be creating some gorgeous home-made lotions and potions,
I aim to at least attempt hand made bread or pizzas at least once more - I should mention that previous attempts have indicated that this is one skill I seriously dont posess - this will obviously only be attempted on a good day when I will stand in my pristine kitchen (cough) with a smudge of flour on my nose, children lovingly tugging on my apron strings and a warm glow around the entire house! (the glow may well be the flames but Im hoping its a warm aura)
A trip out at the very minimum of once a week (feeding ducks may after the second week constitute a 'trip out')
There is decorating to be done...of course doesnt everyone decorate with 6 children in an already cramped too small home?? Just me then!

Im re-homing my beloved Silver Cross pram!  I know, I know I said I would never do it but honestly it seems just selfish to leave it in the loft unloved.  I have offered it out free for collection and have quite a few interested mamas who are just waiting on photos from me.  Actually I may have to dedicate a post to this as I think it deserves it, its taken care of my youngest 3 and I have many, many happy pictures in my head of their tiny little bodies bundled safely into it.

There will be more photos, Im not sure if you'll see this as a threat or a promise?!  Its meant as a promise for me, yet again I have an excuse (at my age honestly!)  I dont have my own camera and rely on the girls loaning me theirs, which will depend on whether thay have lent or left at friends, just because the camera is here doesnt actually mean that the charger is in the same house either!
So at the moment Im without a camera.  I will remedy this as it will be the first Summer Holiday that I will be able to record our daily activities, we usually manage day trips but every day 'stuff' goes uncharted (this may be because there is nothing to show but time will tell)

  1. Wow good luck for the next few weeks - and I thought 3 kiddies were fun (e.g. a handfull :-)). Hide in the loo if you need a breather :-)
