Stockpiling...

Fabric & Projects!  Must stop :)
Im hoping a bit of public humiliation will kick me into action so Im going to list what I have GOT to do, should do and would like to do!
GOT TO DO
Finish wardrobe
Buy bunk-beds so I can justify decorating girls room - not really a crafty project but it will need assembling!
bunting & pin boards for decorated room (embarresed to say exactly how long Ive had bits to do these & kicked into action by Jeanettes post on lazyseamstress)
SHOULD DO
cushions for beds
fabric storage buckets to matchy matchy
more Fonzy pants
Lilly PJ's
WOULD LIKE TO
nope not going to start this list FAAAAR too long

I do have the barest of excuses to do little this week as the children are all on half term, but that means that we should be doing some lovely baking together.  Lots of mouldy bananas ready to go into a nice loaf, cupcakes are always a crowd pleaser and lets not forget a few cookies.

Weather today was pretty vile, so we did the boring grocery shopping - which they helped locate a fair few bits I was searching for + a few bits I didnt realise I *needed*.
How terribly British of me, Im onto the weather!  But I am hoping, REALLY hoping it dries up this week.  It seems so unfair that the weather can be so rotten when they have the time to spend outside...I can manage a day out in the rain but confess I cant enjoy several wet play days.

Dry days = lots of wood walks, feeding the ducks, swings, garden play...Warm days = paddle pool & all of the previous but Hot days ironically see us back indoors for a fair chunk of it as they burn quicker than I can apply sunblock.

So Ive gone from craft watch to weather watch!

Back to craft watch...if you're wondering why I dont just crack on with the sewing when all's quiet (and I doubt that you are but I do wonder myself at times) well the wardrobe is in the place where the dining table sits (table is in bits again) and the dining table is where I sew!
I must stop buying fabric in the meantime....but there are so many gorgeous prints out there and far too many tempting online stores that I dont even need to go out in the rain to shop.  Ironically I started making bits to save money & be a bit greener.  Long term it will save money, I am upcycling as I go along too and in the meantime we all get some unique bits and Im keeping occupied & happy!

Photos - I havent forgotten my New Years Resolution - Im just pants at keeping them.  Definately more to come...

I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
