She's comes she goes...

Me that is, my PC died recently and now my internet connection has gone out in sympathy!  So whilst the dongles away this mama cant play.

Not that I have much to tell, Ive enjoyed a relatively homely period this week, lots of bits at home with children, laundry, the oven and 'stuff'.

Im watching changes in the children which seem to have sprung out at me from no-where.  I should have seen them coming but still they suprise me.

#1 had her first tatoo when she turned 18 back in March, a gorgeous swallow that she designed on her chest, she's touching 5' 10" now and her legs just dont seem to end but I can remember blinking not that long ago and she was drawing fairies & horses, came up to my hips and had sweet toes and chubby legs.

Even Fonzy has had the cheek to become a chatter box!  He's not 2yet and he can string 3-4words together to tell us things or ask for something.

I remember a line from the film 'Cheaper by the dozen', "no more blinking" and that sums it up, I MUST stop blinking!
Im lucky that I get to see the end results in the big grown up teenagers as well as compare notes on the tiny ones, I get to see what results you get from all your efforts.  It also reminds me that its a long term game and we set our strategy to this.

Must dash now, my library time is up.  Need to shoot off and find white football socks for #4, Im not to tell everyone but he was 'scouted' by a premier league team to attend one of their junior coaching sessions.  Im hoping his nerves & slight shyness wont get in the way of him enjoying a lovely kick about, that he makes more friends, that he doesnt feel odd one out/new boy and if Im honest I hope they invite him back for another kick about!
 He lives and breathes footy and the start of the World Cup has been much anticipated in this house...not by me, Im a party pooper Id rather be sewing than watching the footy.

Have a lovely weekend and I hope to catch up with you next week,
x

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
