1/2 term week - Thursday

Another lovely hot & sunny day, we started out once again in the garden, with the paddling pool.  I mowed whats left of the grass early before the sun came around and gave the garden a bit of a spruce up.  I have to say it was pretty desperate so anything would have been an improvement but it looks lovely now.

Lilly needed a pair of shoes so we popped into town to grab a pair of shoes, then onto the plant centre for a few flowers to fill the old pots we have.  I tried vegetables last year, with no success and just fancied something pretty out there.
I have to say Im in lurve with her pretty new shoes and would happily wear a pair if they did them in my size.

After our trip tp the plant shop we took the small ones on a mystery trip...we told them we were going to see a tree on the roundabout!
Strange thing is they believed us!  How bonkers do they think we are?

Our trip took us to Heathrow airport!  We had intended to watch the planes but apparently the viewing gallery has been closed for security reasons?!
So we traipsed out of the airport, really dissapointed and headed home.  Luck would have it we went the way past the runway and managed to pull over to the end of the runway where the planes come in!
If you've not tried it you've got to to!  It looked like you could touch the planes, the noise was quite something too.   The children LOVED it, a definate must for anyone who loves plane spotting.

  1. Love the shoes, so cute! Love the idea of seeing a tree on a roundabout too lol - you should have just taken them there after your disappointment :-) We live near an American airbase and the kiddies love watching the jets go over when it is our turn for their flight path.

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
