Have I told you lately that I love you?...

I've not told my little old blog recently just how much I love it!
It has sat here neglected for the past month...the children back at school I should have more time to make a note and take a photo or two but no I fill that time with other things.

I've not mentioned so many things...

After a rocky start to one morning I filled a bucket with warm soapy water, collected Loopy's babies clothes and set her the task to wash, rinse and hang them to dry.

She did this task with so much enthusiasm...carefully washing each item, then setting it aside till all were done to rinse and finally hanging them carefully on the line, using our lovely little blackbird clothes pegs.

Other mornings have been spent with the paints out on the patio...

 Both started this activity but Fonzy has the attention span of a goldfish most days and wanders off to play on his bike, kick a footy about and just generally flutter around

Dollies and Teddies have been dressed, primped and primed on a daily basis

Then there are the things that just make me feel SO GOOD

This little bag of conkers makes me smile so much...the colours, the texture and the happy memories from collecting them

The photo's I find on the camera, the silly faces that I see every day but forget to capture

The gifts that nature gives me...
I pulled the blind up one morning and had my breath taken away by the scale of how wonderful this sky was

all before the hectic morning began and it made my morning bounce along

And the gifts that friends give...giving without asking and without expectation of return or reward
I bought these two wonderful books from my lovely online buddy Hannah
Now they were a bargain and what I've been coveting on Etsy for some time but as if that wouldn't be enough she so generously wrapped them in this wonderfully long length of green fabric!  Perfect for den making and just what has been missing from our small silks collection {how did she know?}

So my lovely little blog...whilst I haven't paid you much attention of late I am thinking of you daily, I am trying to remind myself just how fortunate I am, I do try to capture the moments during the day but accept there are times when I can either live the moment with the children or force it so I can get a photo of it.

A photo a day may keep the blues away

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
