Sunday Sunday...

Oh my goodness how did we get to Sunday already?

It's been a strange week, we've had a virus hit the family, causing dizziness/total bleurghness for 24hours...now we have a virus which is knocking the kids out completely with raging temperatures, loss of appetite, sore throat/neck and lethargy.

That has been the down side to the week, the upside was my first Vintage Fair with Priddy Priddy and we had a really wonderful day.  The older girls came with me to give me a hand and were invaluable...offering lots of practical support/help and were just really good company!

I picked up a vintage folding drying rack
{I would have come back with more but Lotta sat guard over the cash tin!}
Abba picked up a top and dress and Lotta decided to spend her 'wages' on a top up for her phone!

In between all of the above we've managed to hit the shops to do a bit of back to school shopping and it confirmed exactly why I hate shopping so much.
The shops were busy, people rude - so rude that when I was queing at the bank some miserable git tried to que jump me!
He made a huge mistake as I was at the end of my tether for the day and let rip...I left him a shade of beetroot red and mumbling.
Anyone who knows me will know how far I would walk to avoid confrontation and will know how rude this man was to invoke such a response from me.
It left me feeling shakey.

Instead of counting days into the holidays we're now counting days back to school and there just aren't enough...I know I have moaned about the mess and noise at various times of the holidays but I have once again enjoyed them.  We have had a fabulous seaside trip, many {many} trips to the pool, days out here and there, time spent with friends and oh so much more...thank goodness I kept the blog up to date as I can't remember all of it!

No photo's of us this week, poor show I know but a sick mama and kiddo's really don't make the most photogenic images!

  2. Hi

    I have just discovered your lovely blog. I was stunned at reading that you have 6 children! I have 1 and I find that keeps me busy enough. My sister has 3 and life seems always so hectic for her.

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
