The weather for our final day had taken a turn for the worse...showers, grey and cloudy.
In all honesty we were surprised by the good weather we'd had till then and accepted with humour the rain/damp
The morning had bright spells and we made sure we burnt a bit of energy and excitement off
first on the agenda for Wednesday was a trip to the Park in Poole
We took a turn on the little railway that runs around the park
We also took a turn of the go-karts there, which have been a firm family favourite for the past couple of years!
As the weather turned damp again we headed into Poole town for the children to spend their holiday pennies...but we were sidelined...
I'm not sure what you'd call it, water zorbing? maybe?
But it is what it is...large inflatable balls on water that you try to run around in like hamsters in a ball!
So much fun to watch and I don't think the kiddos stopped laughing the time they were in them

We rounded our final day off with yet another trip to another sandy beach...
Sandbanks
It was chilly and very windy but we managed a paddle and Fonzy also managed to fall over in the shallow water head first! He didn't see the funny side of it till he had warmed up and had our spare jumpers on.
We left the beach late again and had a leisurely drive home,
on the way we saw this beautiful sunset...my photo really doesn't do it justice, there was pink through to burnt orange and the way the wind had spread the clouds was pretty special

wow those zorbing things look amazing!
