Started off so well and carried on that way...
Fonzy woke up for a cuddle this morning, he came into our bed and we had a little chat
F: I love you mummy
Me: Oooo I love you too, did you have a nice sleep
F: mmmm I had nice dream
Me: Oh that sounds nice, what did you dream about?
F: I dream of a strawberry
and then we had a lovely sleepy cuddle!
As it was Thursday RV and Loopy had summer camp, their last day there of the holiday. Once we had dropped them off we had a few errands to run and collected H's exam results.
I am proud of him and although he didn't reach his potential I know enough now to realise that these exams are not the bee all and end all of his learning.
This afternoon after his nap Fonzy and I went outside and played in the puddles all the wet weather has left us. We made foot and hand prints on the patio...
he bought out some bath toys; 2 ducks and boat out to the paddling pool; which was the sandpit till it was emptied of sand and the lid lost! We had a game of footy, made mud pies and generally spent fun time together.
I even sneaked a read of a magazine on the patio - unheard of!
I have managed to get a bit of sewing time in...and I've been doing a bit of sewing for mama!
The pattern is Amy Butler and the fabric is Joel Dewburry.
Finished today and it's ok (it would be better if I looked that thin) and also generally I'm not a dress person...
so why make a dress?
Well I wanted something 'nice' to wear when I do some of the vintage fairs with Priddy Priddy and something that I could wear to appointments etc
I'm hoping that it will wear well with leggings or wooly tights and a pair of boots in the winter too!
And just for the fun of it...

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
