Day 29 & weather watch...

Yesterday was sunny, hot and sunny...we gardened and played out from 8am till 8pm
Today is forecast rain, LOTS of heavy rain, the met office have even issued a weather warning!

Folks abroad might wonder about our constant chatter about the weather but really it varies so much from day to day that it really is a friendly/everyone has it in common bit of conversation.

I'm feeling like Alice, that I might wake up from this dream soon...I hope I don't as I'm enjoying this summer far too much.  Can we really be nearing the end of the holidays?
I wasn't dreading them but I had low expectations...the possibility of arguments worried me.  The younger ones are at the year of bickering, each knowing what they want, vocalising it and realising you don't always get what you want.
'Fair is getting what you need not what you want'
{not sure were I heard that but it's so true}

We made clay 'things' yesterday and hope to find time between grocery shopping and errands to paint them.
I'll pop the sewing machine away once we're home for the day and turn the table over to the children.

The girls room could do with a tidy and a bit of jigging around; there are things out that aren't being used, cluttering the room and I cant help but feel that the cluttered room clutters their minds.

I will clad them in wellies and open the doors to blow our cobwebs away...we may if we find time even go swimming but that may have to wait a day...we'll see.

Doing what we do best, planning but winging it all the way

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
