Berry Good...

Finally we made it Berry picking!  Last season I was waaayy too late, thankfully this year I made it in by the skin of my teeth.

We didn't manage to fill the pots & pots I'd hoped for; you do need an awful lot to make lots of lovely jam but what we did get was really scrummy.

Fonzy wore most of what he ate, they were just so juicy.  He made us all laugh when he announced he didn't like raspberries just as he was about to stuff 3 at once.

Loopy's pot needed regular top ups, mysterious really as there were non on the floor but yet her pot kept decreasing?  She would only chuckle when questioned (without caution) as to whether or not she had actually eaten them.  

I forgot the camera in the car but managed to grab it on the way to pay.

The raspberries will hopefully make it into ice cream or a sorbet - but we did only get the one punnet and there's a lotta peeps in the house who love em.

I'm not convinced that the strawberries will ever see the inside of the jam pan either, Loopy kept needing to go to the fridge today and Lolly was seen loitering with menace near the area.
