Vintage inspired bottles...

Following from yesterdays (still ongoing) quest for stripey straws I'll show n tell my little bottles I'd like to use them with!
I bought these

last year from my favourite little shop in Windsor (Cocoa Bean) to use in the kitchen.  I had been on a search for a shelf to fill a gap and bottles to decant either laundry bits into or juices.  In the event I re-homed a lovely little shelf from the dump and they didn't fit on it.  Neither did they fit in the bathroom - the problem when you have 8 people in a small 3bed house is that it doesn't leave much room for things that are pretty yet not functional.
In the end 2 usually live in the fridge; one for fresh OJ and the other for homemade milkshake. (for love nor money once the children stop breast milk they refuse plain cows milk - can't say I blame them)

So when I saw these little beauties

in the florist early this year for a £10 I snapped them up.  They would and do fit on the shelf the added bonus is that they look so pretty and they provide a very pretty home to the flowers (and weeds) that the little ones bring in from the garden and park..
Now I was a happy camper with this...until I spotted the milk bottles on Vanessa's blog!
Now the milkshakes taste that bit better being served from the little bottles and I just know that they'll taste all the more better once I get the stripey straws

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
