Yesterday my eldest son H (15yrs) was attacked. Unprovoked and from behind. Yards from a busy road at 6pm so in broad daylight.
They broke his nose and have bruised him but its the what ifs that kept me awake till the wee hours. What if he hadnt seen the blow coming, what if it had caught him full in the face, what if they had managed to knock him to the floor, what if he hadnt managed to push them off and hold his own??? What if they had been carrying a knife? What if we had been out & not able to get to him so quickly? Why? Why the hell would anyone just do that? What did he do wrong, was it what he was wearing, was it because he's so tall he stands out? Was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
So here's my boy...here's what mindless bastards can do
I cant print what I wish to happen to them and Im ashamed that I feel such dark thoughts to another person but I do.
:-o what is the world coming to - your poor lad! I wouldn't be ashamed to feel how you do, I am sure I could think of many things to do to a person who did this to a child.
