Another day in the garden

Not that Im complaining...

You may notice a theme this time of year, Im a homely bird and enjoy nothing more than setting up camp in the garden with the children.

Turned out sunny!  I know Im back to weather watch but it does influence the day ahead, to sun cream or not, jacket or hoody, shorts or trousers yada yada yada.

We took our ever faithful picnic blanket out to the terrace, it was a bargain buy from Ikea many years ago bought to fit us all & food onto and has been an essential to many days out and even more lazy afternoons at home.

We have a small box of Lego, some from the older ones but mostly from boot sales.  Yesterday we spent quite literally hours playing with just a few bits of it... choo choo train.

The colours were really vibrant in the sun and almost match the blanket perfectly.

I took a few lovely photos  of the few flowers in the garden but my library time is again up, errands to run and children to fetch.  I'll pop them up next time I get time alone & wi-fi access.
