the 5th of November!
So fireworks night was pretty noisey here as was last Saturday. Not us but the area we live in seem to have taken to heart celebrating Guy Fawkes night. No need to go to any fancy displays, just pull the curtains open in the dining room, settle onto the sofa and we're all set.
Sounds fabby eh? Nope not if youre a little man, aged around 5years old. #4 decided that he had been very hard done by in not having our own fireworks, not even a sparkler. Cue mamma doing the shopping on Tuesday, finding that all the fireworks had been reduced by 70%. Need I say much more? Yep I got a LOT of fireworks for my money.
So Tuesday night we had our bonfire night, no BBQ too wet for that, but the burgers & sausages tasted just fine out of the oven. More sparklers than we could manage in one night, some have been stashed away for #5's birthday which is coming soon.
Everyone enjoyed them, #6 sat in his highchair munching on a sausage watching the lights going into the sky as well as the sparklers that were being waved for his pleasure. #4 & 5 arent keen on big bangs so came in to watch them, popping out to wave a few sparkles when there was a gap in the noise!

Thanks for popping by...I love to hear from you and really appreciate you taking the time.
I am sorry about having to ask you to prove you're not a robot but for some reason I am having a LOT of spam nowadays {and we're not talking fritters!}
